Excellent customers service, they proactively let me know about a warranty and quickly performed service. The loaner rental was easy as could be. On the other hand they failed to complete my requested additional service of installing a front license plate. My service sheet also called out a car wash was performed which was not done, writing that something was done that was clearly not done damages trust. I also had to call on Monday to verify if service was done and it turned out to have been complete days before.

Timing and friendliness great. The only complaint is that my maps needed an update - something that costs you nothing - I asked for a free update after spending over $400 and establishing my new dealer relationship, and it was denied.

Unfortunately the thrill of buying a new car was short lived. We had confirmed the interest rate both verbally AND via email with the manager. They were very helpful and had fast service. I thought I needed my tires rotated along with my oil change but they checked them out and didn’t perform the tire rotation since I didn’t need it yet, which also saved me a bit on the bill.

Our whole buying experience was very unorganized and chaotic. It started with being shown the wrong vehicle and being convinced it was a different one(more expensive, less miles). Next we were shown a car and started to go through the loan process to be told that the dealer did not have the title for the car and couldn’t sell it. Brought in for warranty work. Had to take vehicle back due to leaking oil after warranty work. Tech pinched valve cover gasket when re assembled. Vehicle began leaking oil. After fixing valve cover leak they still didn’t clean the oil off of the lower shield and didn’t cleanup the coolant under the hood from disassembly.

We purchased our used Mazda at Russ Darrow recently and were pleased with the process. Also, having just taken the car in for its first post-sale oil change, we find the service here very complete, including a check of all systems, fluid levels, tires and even an exterior wash. It looks like the service department will make it easy to keep our new purchase in good shape. The attached photo is a still from the video the service attendant sends explaining what was done.
