I am a widow and my husband always took care of the car so I am out of my comfort zone when it comes to having my car fixed. The gentleman I had was so helpful and took the time to explain.

Also the car condition was very poor and they did not even provide the Keysense PIN. Overall dont recommend this dealership.

Very accommodating Bought a used 2017 Toyota Highlander with a 20 year old trade-in. The vin number on the title was off by one letter. We were sent home with the new vehicle and the trade-in left at the dealership. When MVD in Madison only through the mail, correct the title, we will then get our trade-in amount in a check

Andy in the service department is awesome and he got me talking to Cung in Sales and now I’m seeing the potential of an upgrade to a Cx50 when my protege5 craps the fan. Thank you to Andy and Cung for restoring my faith in RD Mazda I’m mostly use the Mazda service center because I have a new 2018 Mazda and I don’t think it’s worth it to go to generic oil change places. That being said when I was in the market to buy a Mazda all of the sales people at Russ Darrow Mazda in Madison ignored me and my wife. They looked at us and ignored us and even when we had questions about makes and models never got adequate service so I had to drive over 100 miles to Illinois to make the purchase. I live in Madison and Russ Darrow are the only Mazda dealer in the area so I literally don’t have any other options but to go to a dealership where I am already used to getting subpar if not, horrible service

When you think of buying a car from a dealership, most
When you think of buying a car from a dealership, most people cringe (for good reason). My wife and I "attempted" to purchase a vehicle from this dealership in July 2025, and had the most stereotypical experience in the WORST way. Everything wrong with used car salesman, took place here. I thought about writing a review for almost a month. I could write a small book of the absolute disaster this dealership is, but I wasted 3 weeks dealing with Russ Darrow, so I am not going to give them any more of my time past this one point. The core issue with this dealership is communication and lack of leadership. Our salesman Tim, the sales manager Dylan, and Nick (head honcho the called him), provided us with the worst customer service and car buying experience I could have imagined. There is a clear inability to lead a team taking place, resulting in laughable levels of miscommunication. This dealership is borderline unethical, as they sold us a vehicle without having completed a safety inspection, and then 11 days after signing the paperwork and loan documentation (pulled my credit and the bank funded the transaction "they told me"), we still did not have our vehicle due to the issues found with the vehicle. We were promised 3 separate delivery dates for our vehicle but 3 left us without a vehicle. They "canceled" the transaction without my signature, pulled my credit, and said "sorry we can't meet your needs". Talk about gas lighting. Instead of speaking life into these people, I have no hesitation in saying I would never advise anyone to do business with this dealership. And based on the plethora of similar reviews on their website, Google, and social media sites from the most recent months in 2025, my story is not isolated.

I think the cost of the repairs were not out of line given the cost of the parts used in the repair. Service rep was polite and honest. The waiting area was comfortable and the treats provided were very good. I will certainly return for service in the future.
