Our whole buying experience was very unorganized and
Our whole buying experience was very unorganized and chaotic. It started with being shown the wrong vehicle and being convinced it was a different one(more expensive, less miles). Next we were shown a car and started to go through the loan process to be told that the dealer did not have the title for the car and couldn’t sell it. Our salesperson found us a vehicle similar and we set up an appointment for the paperwork to come at 5pm. We completed the online credit app and emailed our salesperson to ensure they had everything needed for our appointment. From experience at other dealers, we believed all our paperwork would be ready to go and be signed. That was not the case. When we arrived at 5pm, we were told the wrong credit app was completed and was still being asked questions about packages and rates without having our credit pulled and the accurate loan numbers. We were then told we were 3 people behind to sign papers. 3 hours later, we were able to sign our papers. While talking to the financial person she shared she is always alone on Thursdays and the sales people always overbook. This was incredibly disappointing to hear. To make matters worse, before leaving our salesperson took me aside and told me that I would be getting a survey and he hopes to count on me for a high rating. No apology, or empathy for our experience. If we had not put a payment down before our appointment, we would have left.

Russ Darrow Mazda of Madison repaired the rear brakes and rotors for me for about $60;less than the repair estimate they provided. I think the cost of the repairs were not out of line given the cost of the parts used in the repair. Service rep was polite and honest. The waiting area was comfortable and the treats provided were very good. I will certainly return for service in the future.

Excellent service, as usual! The scheduling was easy and completed on time, and the service manager was vert clear and easy to work with. The pricing was competitive. And as always, the work was done right and done the first time. The videos that the service tech makes for the inspection and work done is a really nice and helpful touch. Highly recommended!

Had a 2 hour wait. While we purchased a Mini Cooper from Russ Darrow, they are not equipped to service a Mini. In the last two visits, we’ve had lengthy waits while some went to the Mini dealer to get the required parts.

After the usual oil change and system check, Andrew
After the usual oil change and system check, Andrew advised me about some possible front strut issues. I decided to have some pre-emptive strut issues work done. I scheduled the appointment for the work, and Andrew ordered the needed parts. The morning I brought my car in for the work, the car was taken into the shop on time. I mentioned to the other service desk attendant, Josh, that I had decided not to a take a loaner vehicle, and I mentioned bringing in plenty of work to do, while I waited for my car. Josh suggested a more quiet area in the waiting area to do my work. I really appreciated his suggestion. I got my work done and received my car back from the service department in less time than I had planned. Thank you. Andrew and Josh.

Unfortunately the thrill of buying a new car was short
Unfortunately the thrill of buying a new car was short lived. We had confirmed the interest rate both verbally AND via email with the manager. We had came to the dealership with a 2.9% interest rate in mind. We get there. Test drive it again and then we start to talk numbers and all of a sudden it's 4.9% due to the vehicle we selected. Needless to say we were less than thrilled. The manager did not even come to speak to us or apologize for the misinformation and was unwilling to work with us to make up the difference for the wrong information that was provided to us. It did leave a sour taste and took away from an exciting moment.
